What is the MVHS annual magazine?
The Münchner Volkshochschule is Munich's public academy for adult education. Every year, over 180,000 people learn new languages, craft skills, attend guided tours and lectures there. The stories of the participants, lecturers and courses find attention in the new annual magazine of the MVHS.

The Münchner Volkshochschule publishes an annual report that provides a review of the past fiscal year. Since the MVHS as an organization lives from its participants and lecturers, the annual report was further developed into a magazine. In 2022, for the first time, the stories of the participants and lecturers were told alongside facts and figures, and exciting insights into the organization and planning of the courses were given.
Contents of the current issue
The focus of this first issue is on the internationality of Munich's urban society and how this is being shaped at the MVHS. We spoke to lecturers and participants about this.
The theme of the Focus Report was centered around internationality. The Munich Adult Education Center is Germany's largest language school. In interviews, instructors share their motivations and experiences.
The magazine also includes a review of events and lectures held at the program. These stories are underpinned with facts and figures, as well as glimpses behind the scenes of the company. A large-scale illustration also shows important MVHS locations in Munich and on Lake Starnberg.
